Emmalene Callaghan – Violin and Piano Teacher

Hello, my name is Emmalene and for the past five years I have been a violin and piano teacher for beginners and intermediates.

I first began playing violin at age six and piano at age eight and have performed in many orchestras including the West Australian Youth Orchestra. Through these experiences I believe in teaching children a well-rounded music experience, including theory and aural knowledge as I find it’s important when playing with others.

As a passionate music teacher, I love to pass on what I have learned to children in an engaging and interesting way and tailor each lesson to the student and how they learn best. Music is a great way for children of all ages to express their creativity, gain confidence and I strive for every student to have fun and enjoy themselves throughout learning!
